Congratulations are in order for Amber Heard!
It was announced on Thursday that the actress is pregnant and expecting a second child, according to her rep. “It’s still pretty early in the pregnancy, so you’ll understand that we don’t want to go into details at this time,” a spokeswoman for Heard exclusively told People. She added: “Suffice it to say, Amber is very happy for herself and Oonagh Paige.”
Heard is already mother to a 3-year-old daughter, Oonagh Paige, whom she gave birth to on April 8, 2021. The “Aquaman” star revealed the news three months after giving birth, explaining that she “decided I wanted to have a child” and that she wanted to do it on her own terms.
“Four years ago, I decided that I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms. Now I know how radical it is for us women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destiny in this way,” she wrote on Instagram after the birth of her daughter. “I hope we get to a point where not wanting a ring to have a crib is normal. Part of me wants to claim that my personal life is nobody’s business.”
Heard has never spoken about who Oonagh’s father is, nor is it known who she will share her second baby with. Her last known relationship was with filmmaker Bianca Butti. The two were spotted kissing while on vacation in Palm Springs in January 2020, shortly before the COVID pandemic, and Butti stayed by Heard’s side as she battled her ex Johnny Depp in court in London later that year. In October 2022, the pair were spotted again in Mallorca, Spain.
With the trial now behind her, Heard has moved to Madrid, Spain, with her daughter. Last year, sources told People that the actress’ decision to move abroad was due to the “chaos” and attention of her court case with Depp. “The trial was beyond stressful and she wanted to start over,” an insider said at the time, adding that she now has ”renewed energy and is focusing on things she loves.”
