“Danced our way into the new year!!!”
Dua Lipa rang in the New Year in style with her boyfriend, actor Callum Turner, by her side. In a new Instagram post, the singer showed off her New Year’s Eve party and added a picture of her kissing Turner – possibly at midnight. The sweet picture comes amid engagement rumors after fans spotted a ring on her finger in her Christmas Day post. In her latest carousel, Lipa appears to be wearing a ring on the same finger again. “Let me see that ring,” one fan commented.
“We danced our way into the new year!!! HELLO 2025!!!! It only took me a few days to get back on my feet, but here we are,” she wrote in the caption. In the photos, she can be seen dancing the night away with friends, drinking cocktails, smoking a few cigarettes and generally having a great time.
For the occasion, she wore a short navy blue fur jacket around her shoulders and a matching bra with narrow black straps. She also wore black leather trousers with a chunky black belt and wore her hair in loose waves and parted in the middle. To complete the look, she wore an array of silver jewelry, including her silver cross necklace, a cuff bracelet and several rings. All in all, the outfit was the perfect blend of two of last year’s biggest trends: mafia woman and brat.
Some fans were quick to note that the look was reminiscent of early Dua Lipa in the mid-2010s. “2017 x 2021 Dua omg?” wrote one. Another added: “Dua Lipa 2015 vibes.” A third wrote: “Welcome back 2017”.
