He’s got a few tricks and surprises up his sleeves.
Now that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been dating for a little over a year, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is under pressure to plan the perfect celebration for the pop star’s upcoming 35th birthday on Dec. 13 – and according to Page Six, he has a few surprises in mind to make sure her big day is a memorable one.
“This birthday is a milestone for Taylor, so he wants to make it extra special,” a source told the publication. Kelce is reportedly doing everything he can to keep his surprise for Swift a secret and has only told his closest friends about his plans for her. “Travis has only let a few of his closest confidants know what he has in store for Taylor because he doesn’t want to spoil any surprises,” the source continued.
The football player also has Christmas on his mind, which is fitting since Swift’s birthday is less than two weeks before the big celebration. The source explained that Kelce “has been shopping for Christmas and birthday presents for Taylor for a while now” and takes shopping very seriously, as he’s “not the type to leave these things to the last minute, so he’s been picking up stuff here and there for the past few months whenever he’s had the chance.”
Kelce has been very secretive about picking out gifts for Swift, as the source explains, “Some of the gifts are things Taylor has casually mentioned that she would like. Travis makes sure he’s always listening, even if Taylor doesn’t realize he is.”
Swift’s birthday and Christmas may not go quite as she would like this year, however, as Kelce is playing a game with the Kansas City Chiefs against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day. However, the footballer has every intention of being there for the pop star, regardless of the clash of dates: “Despite playing on Christmas and having an away game on the weekend of Taylor’s birthday, Travis will make time to celebrate both occasions with her”.
