Consider it an early Christmas present.
While most people are waiting to cut or dye their hair in the new year, Kim Kardashian has made one final hair change for 2024. The reality star has already made several hair changes this year – from a blonde bob to a red dye job – but her latest look could be her most controversial yet.
On Thursday, Kardashian showed off her new bangs at the opening of her SKIMs store in New York City while riding up on a knee scooter. Wearing a low-cut cream-colored corset with matching pants and high PVC heels, the fashion entrepreneur was perfectly dressed despite her broken foot. And while all eyes were on Kim’s mode of transportation (it was hard to miss), perhaps her most controversial accessory was her freshly shorn bangs, which were effortlessly cut and fell over her cheekbones.
Kardashian combined her extra-long bangs with her dark waves, which she wore half up, half down, and added a glossy lip, feathery lashes and bright pink blush to her glam.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Kardashian has experimented with bangs. Last year, the Kardashian star arrived at the 2023 CFDA Awards with a Pamela Anderson ’90s-style updo and long, piecey fringe. This time, however, she didn’t quite stick to the cut, as her bangs were fake.
“I based the placement on her cheekbones,” Kardashian’s stylist Chris Appleton told Vogue, ”Kim and I worked visually by just grabbing the hair and pinning it in place. The key element was then to separate the bangs.
