“You should have paid me double because I don’t have one.”

Many Gen Zers and millennials can probably say they grew up with Lindsay Lohan. The early eighties icon turned movies like Herbie: Fully Loaded, Mean Girls and Freaky Friday into the cult classics they are today – some of her one-liners are still just as quotable two decades later. The child actress consistently brought wit, sass and an enviable Y2K wardrobe to the screen (and will thankfully do so again in Freakier Friday). And it seems she has an equally sassy personality behind the scenes. Lohan recently sat down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live! where she shared a cheeky joke she made to former Disney boss Michael Eisner when she was just 12 years old.

It all started when Cohen asked the “Drama Queen” singer if there were any roles in her career that she had auditioned for but didn’t get. In response, Lohan replied that she had only auditioned for one project, “The Parent Trap”. This prompted the host to ask Lohan if it was true that Eisner had asked her where her twin was at the premiere of the movie in 1998. Lohan, of course, doesn’t have a twin; she played both sisters, Hallie and Annie, in the popular movie.

“Michael Eisner [asked me] ‘Where’s your twin?” Lohan recounted. “I was so young, I don’t even know where I got the idea to say that, but I’ll never forget what I said. I said, ‘You should have paid me double because I don’t have one,’” she continued, eliciting laughter from Cohen and the audience.
The movie, directed by Nancy Meyers, is about twins Hallie and Annie who were separated at birth and meet for the first time at a summer camp. At the end of the summer, they switch places to try to reunite their mother (Natasha Richardson) and father (Dennis Quaid).

Considering that Lohan has signed on for the Freaky Friday sequel, in which she will reprise her role as Anna Coleman, once again alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, who will play her mother Tess Coleman, Cohen asked Lohan if she would consider a reboot of Parent Trap.
“I mean, if Nancy Meyers was a part of it, yes. I would never say no to Nancy,” the actress said.
