Bye bye mullet.

Earlier this month, Rita Ora debuted a bold blonde mullet look and a menswear-inspired look. Now, as the year 2025 approaches, Ora is apparently ready for another change. No sooner had the mullet appeared than it was gone. Instead, Ora has opted for long, flowing brunette locks that can only be described as princess hair.
Ora made her first appearance at the Times Square Ball today ahead of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, which she will co-host with Ryan Seacrest tomorrow. Her new look features long, layered brown hair with a center parting, which she wore silky smooth and sleek. Since she wore a blonde mullet just a few weeks ago, it’s safe to assume that this look is either a wig or a whole series of hair extensions.

Ora paired her new hairstyle with a red and black plaid coat from Antonio Marras’ fall 2024 collection. The long coat has black shearling fur sleeves and black glittering floral embellishments. With it, Ora wore a black turtleneck sweater, chunky black buckled boots and black earrings.
Of course, Ora is known for her love of experimenting with new hair looks. “I’ve always loved changing and coloring my hair – my biggest role model as a child was Gwen Stefani, and I wanted her iconic bleached hair,” she told the Evening Standard earlier this year.
Ora recently launched her own hair growth line, Typebea, after struggling with hair loss. “I’ve been in the industry for almost ten years now, and my hair has been through everything – heat styling, color changes, cuts, extensions, you name it,” she said earlier this year. “And at some point I got to a point where I thought, ‘Wow, I barely have any hair left!
